Infertility Facts
Did you know that 5 million couples
struggle with infertility in the U.S.
and out of those 5 million, 2 million
cannot conceive without IVF treatments?
And only 10% of insurance carriers cover IVF!
For those of you who don't know what IVF is here is the definition:
In vitro fertilization, a laboratory procedure in which sperm are placed with an unfertilized egg in a Petri dish to achieve fertilization. The embryo is then transferred into the uterus to begin a pregnancy or cryopreserved (frozen) for future use.
IVF costs couples anywhere from $10,000-$15,000 for one cycle.
